Our Assumptions

We assume certain information to complete your quote. Please check and/or amend these on your selected insurance provider’s website before you buy your policy.

• Your vehicle has not been modified in any way from the manufacturer’s standard specification.
• Your vehicle is not left-hand drive.
• You are or will be at the time you purchase insurance, the owner and the registered keeper of the vehicle, or specified in the policy schedule.
• Your vehicle is kept at the address you provided in your quote overnight, or as specified in the policy schedule.
• You and any additional drivers do not have a disability or medical condition which needs to be disclosed to the DVLA.
• You and any additional drivers have never been refused insurance or had special terms imposed on previous insurance policies.
• You and any additional drivers do not have an unspent non-motoring conviction (e.g. theft, dishonesty, fraud) or have any Notice of an Intended Motoring Prosecution pending.
• You do not have a second occupation.
• Your No Claims Discount disclosed is not in use for another vehicle and has been earned on a Commercial Vehicle policy and not a Private Car policy.
